The limestone bowl was created out of perfect balance and proportion and is represented in two ways: a feminine and a masculine version. The masculine version explores the idea of a carved, solid and heavy everyday object that can be considered as a miniature piece of architecture. The feminine version is, weight-wise, a lighter version of the same object. Both bowls display simple, elegant shapes and an astute mix of materials: Iranian travertine marble, Egyptian sandstone and perforated bronze, for one; lacquer and nickel, for the other.
