Fridays From The Garden is a collection of over 150 recipes from a year spent at Flamingo Estate. It’s a cookbook, but it’s more than that, too. This is the story of a house that became a brand and a brand that became a rallying cry for regenerative farming and Pleasure from the Garden.

In the 1940s, a pair of determined entrepreneurs arrived in California to build their vision of an earthly paradise high in the hills above Los Angeles. Flamingo Estate’s sprawling garden is now home to over 150 botanical species, including a vibrant orchard with apples, plums, pears, olives and peaches. Together, they provide food and home to a variety of welcome guests, including hummingbirds, owls, butterflies, and bees.
The products are a collaboration between their garden and some of the best farms in California. Together they find new ways to bring pleasure from the garden to everyone. One tree is planted for every product sold and are proud members of 1% for the planet.
