This natural woven pendant is made with traditional basket weaving techniques from Africa. Woven by hand from a naturally durable grass. The reeds are twisted by hand and small batches are colored using vegetable food dyes in cauldrons.
The weaving is tight and smooth and woven by an association of weavers, who have honed their art to make these contemporary shapes. This lamp takes seven to eight days to weave, finished with satin brass fixtures, twisted cables, and certified electrics.
